Among the stars who were given top honors in the recently held Kansas City Film Critics were Kirsten Dunst, George Clooney and The Descendants.

The Kansas City Film Critics Circle is a group of media film critics situated in Kansas City metropolitan area provides honors to actors, actresses, directors and films every year as it is the acclaimed second oldest professional film critics association in the United States. The annual film awards is founded by the local psychiatrist James Loutzenhiser and it is now called “The Loutzenhiser Awards”.

The categories included in the said annual film awards are Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Animated Film, Best Director, Best Documentary Film, Best Film, etc. In this 2011 film awards of the Kansas City Film Critics Circle, below are the full list of winners for each category.
