Miguel Cotto takes another punch by going up to another level of the ladder in boxing by challenging the crown of the super welterweight champion Yuri Foreman in a battle of supremacy and redemption. Cotto vs. Foreman fight which is dubbed as “Stadium Slugfest” and organized to happen by Top Rank Promotions, will be held at the Yankee Stadium this June 5, 2010 at 10:15pm ET / 7:15pm PT. That’s right, they are bringing back boxing to the stadium. Its been several years past since the last boxing event happened on the said venue.
Now the question continues as which style will hold on to the world boxing championship crown. Miguel Cotto is known for his power punches while Yuri Foreman is known for his lightning speed. Will Cotto catch-up and redeem himself from his welterweight loss or will Yuri takes this last hope and be known to be one of the best fighter of the world?
Well, aside from Floyd Mayweather Jr. there’s no other fighter that can be qualified to fight Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Yuri Foreman is one of the name that can make a way to the ring with the Pacman. However, he needs to prove that he is worthy by beating Miguel Cotto today.
